Rejected names for OS X 10.9

Tiger

Later this year Apple may or may not release the next update to OS X, which will probably be version 10.9. I’ve no idea what they will call it, but I expect it won’t be any of these:

If I had to choose, I’d suggest Apple may go for ‘Lynx’ as it’s one of the few remaining big cat names that they haven’t used yet.

Interestingly, if Wikipedia is correct (and the statement does not have a citation), the beta version of OS X was internally known as ‘Kodiak’, which is actually a type of bear. All subsequent versions have been named after big cats, however.
