Bradford’s Garden of Light

Garden of Light in City Park, Bradford

This week, Bradford’s multi-million pound City Park is playing host to the ‘Garden of Light’, a series of temporary light constructions. They’re illuminated from dusk until 10pm each night, and accompanied by a number of street entertainers.

I popped out today with my SLR and tripod to take a few photos, which are up on Flickr. I’m particularly proud of this panoramic view, which is made of 10 images stitched together using Hugin.

Garden of Light runs until this Sunday. I’d definitely recommend going down if you’re in the area. Even on a cold Tuesday night it was quite busy, and estimates suggest over 30,000 people have been to see it already. I really hope Bradford Council do something similar again in the future.
