As you may know, for the past 18 months or so this blog has been hosted by Bytemark, based in York. As well as this blog, they also offer hosting to OpenStreetMap, which is rapidly becoming more comprehensive than Google Maps in many cases, and now they’ve donated hosting to the Open Rights Group. This is significant – ORG’s hosting bill runs to around £3,000 annually, and yet Bytemark are happy to host them for free.
I’ve been continually impressed by Bytemark and heartedly recommend them. This shows they have good morals as well as good service.
