Last year I walked along the Leeds Liverpool Canal between Shipley and Leeds, and yesterday Christine and I did the route again. It seemed to be nicer than when I did it the first time, which is probably due to it being a nicer day, having some company and not feeling like a total wreck at the end of it.
It’s not a bad walk but it’s long – just over 12 miles along the canal. We ended up in The Scarborough Hotel in Leeds afterwards, which offers a great selection of pies.
