Photographing Sheffield

Sheaf Square

It’s been about 3 years since I last went to Sheffield (instead of just passing through it on the train, like I did a couple of weeks ago), so I went with my parents for a day out in the city centre and took a few photos. In particular, there’s been a massive change to the station and Sheaf Square, the area outside, which now has a big wavy steel water feature. The winter garden looks as impressive as ever, and Millennium Square is finally open too – last time I went it was a hole in the ground.

Note that these were edited in Google’s Picasa, but on my MacBook instead of Windows. An explanatory post is forthcoming.
