Memelicious

You can’t beat a good meme, and seeing as I haven’t done one in a while I thought I’d do this one, found at Ministry of Information. It’s in the extended bit since it’s rather long.

  1. What curse word do you use the most? Tends to be ‘bollocks’, most of the time, but I may bring myself to use the f-word if it’s really serious. But I tend to avoid swearing as it offends people.
  2. Do you own an iPod? Yep, a 4 GB iPod Mini. May upgrade to an iPod Nano at some point in future, when I have more money.
  3. Who on your Myspace “Top 8” do you talk to the most? Well, one of them lives with Hari, so her.
  4. What time is your alarm clock set for? At the moment it isn’t (study leave, yay) but normally anytime between 8am and 10am, depending on when my lectures are.
  5. What color is your room? It’s blue. Choice of the landlord, not me, but it’s okay. Better than what I had in my last house, anyway.
  6. Flip flops or sneakers? Tend to wear trainers most of the time, and slippers around the house. They’re fleecy Japanese ones.
  7. Would you rather take the picture or be in the picture? Don’t really mind, but usually I am the one taking the picture. There aren’t that many good photos of me for that reason.
  8. What was the last movie you watched? Final Fantasy: Advent Children, on DVD. Storyline was a bit hard to follow, mainly because I’ve never played the game of Final Fantasy, but it was enjoyable, and the computer animation was amazing. Last film seen in the cinema was probably Narnia – haven’t been in ages.
  9. Do any of your friends have children? Yes, one does – his name is George.
  10. Has anyone ever called you lazy? Oh yes. I’m not the king of laziness but I have my moments.
  11. Do you ever take medication to help you fall asleep faster? No. Usually I have no problems in that respect.
  12. What CD is currently in your CD player? CD Player? Who uses those things? Last song to play on my iPod, however, was ‘King For A Day’ by Green Day, off the ‘Nimrod’ album.
  13. Do you prefer regular or chocolate milk? Regular, but chocolate is good as a treat now and again.
  14. Has anyone told you a secret this week? Yes. Nothing earth-shattering though.
  15. Have you ever given someone a hickey? Yes.
  16. Who was the last person to call you? Technically me – I was trying to find my mobile phone so I rang it. But not counting that, it was my mum.
  17. Do you think people talk about you behind your back? Of course.
  18. Did you watch cartoons as a child? Of course.
  19. How many siblings do you have? None.
  20. Are you shy around the opposite sex? I used to be. I’m not over-confident, just normal now.
  21. What movie do you know every line to? None. I don’t tend to watch films that much.
  22. Do you own any band t-shirts? Just the one – a Darkness t-shirt from their 2004 winter tour.
  23. What is your favorite salad dressing? Either Italian or Caesar.
  24. Do you read for fun? Not really.
  25. Do you cry a lot? No. Only very occasionally.
  26. Who was the last person to text message you? The answer to question 3.
  27. Do you have a desktop computer or a laptop? Both. But I use the laptop mostly as Hari monopolises the desktop to play World of Warcraft.
  28. Are you currently wanting any piercings or tattoo? Nope.
  29. What is the weather like? It’s sunny at the moment, but it’s been raining on-and-off.
  30. Would you ever date someone covered in tattoos? No idea.
  31. Is sex before marriage wrong? Nope. But I’m unsure about overly casual sex.
  32. When was the last time you slept on the floor? February I think. I was staying over at Hari’s parents’ house.
  33. How many hours of sleep do you need to function? Usually a minimum of 6. I normally get at least 8.
  34. Are you in love or lust? I’m pretty sure it’s love.
  35. Are your days full and fast-paced? It varies. Today wasn’t, tomorrow will be.
  36. Do you pay attention to calories on the back of packages? Somewhat.
  37. How old will you be turning on your next birthday? 22. It’s tomorrow! Woohoo!
  38. Are you picky about spelling and grammar? I’m quite picky, yes. It’s why I now use a spellchecker in Firefox. Which, incidentally, doesn’t have the word ‘spellchecker’ in its dictionary.
  39. Have you ever been to Six Flags? No, but some members of my family have I think. I’m on the wrong side of the Atlantic.
  40. Do you get along better with the same or opposite sex? Generally the opposite but it usually doesn’t matter.
  41. Do you like Cottage Cheese? Not particularly.
  42. Do you sleep on your side, tummy, or back? Usually my side but sometimes my back.
  43. Have you ever bid for something on eBay? Yes, a few times. And, in some cases, actually won.
  44. Do you enjoy giving hugs? Yes. Sometimes it doesn’t happen as often as I’d like though.
  45. What song did you last sing out loud? ‘Ebeneezer Goode’ by The Shamen, today in the pub. ‘Tis a good song.
  46. What is your favorite TV show? At the moment, ‘Doctor Who’, but I haven’t really had the time to watch TV lately.
  47. Which celebrity dead or alive would you want to have lunch with? I could probably have a good natter with Stephen Fry. Top bloke.
  48. Last time you had butterflies in your stomach? Probably yesterday morning when I went to the health centre for an asthma checkup. My asthma, incidentally, is back to normal after a gradual worsening over the past couple of years – yay for Salmeterol.
  49. What one thing do you wish you had? Right now, probably a better laptop. I’m sure I could think of something better given time though.
  50. Favourite lyrics? At the moment, probably the lyrics to ‘Growing on Me’ by The Darkness.
