Which religion is the right one for you?

Found via djst:

You scored as atheism.
You are… an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being “nonreligious,” atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

Which religion is the right one for you?

As for the breakdown of religions, I rank 71% for atheism, and – interestingly – 67% for satanism, followed by paganism at 58%. Of the major religions I rank highest for Buddhism at 54%, with Christianity at 25% and Hinduism in last place at 4%. Intriguingly, Sikhism is not on the list. Nor is Flying Spaghetti Monstrism.
In other news:

  • If you’re wondering who ‘Sacahariel’ is in the comments, she’s my darling girlfriend. Sacahariel (or ‘Hari’ for short) isn’t her real name, though it’s a nice name nonetheless. A nice name for a wonderful girl… 😉
  • Erm, yeah, sorry. Anyway, as I said today, I’ve spent most of the day doing coursework, or procrastinating with the intention of doing coursework. Suppose it serves me right for leaving it until the last minute.

  1. Not surprisingly, I’m at 83% Buddhism.  Surprisingly, I am at 58% Paganism, 58% Agnosticism, and 58% Islam.  Christianity is way down on the list at 29%.

  4. 96% Athiesm – Well, I did already know that. Only 17% Christian.

  5. I scored (sorry for the Swedish) pretty much the same as you, Neil. I don’t know if it is a sign that I must pursue my satanic beliefs or if I should be happy as an atheist.

  6. Ganska satanistisk men inte så judisk?

Jag kände mig manad att göra ett religionstest som jag hittade via Patrick.
Resultatet blev inte så förvånande som följer:
    You scored as atheism.

  7. Perhaps not surprisingly Buddhism and Paganism are my top two, surprisingly though Hinduism, Judaism and Christianity are the bottom three – all three I feel closer to than satanism or Islam – though perhaps that’s just because I know more about them.  I’d have liked to see Unitatian Universalism included.

  8. I got Agnostic, Buddhist and then Paganism. I’m actually Hindu. Hmm…

  9. For me? Christianity.

Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren’t already Christian. Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people’s sins.

  11. Religion Test

You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic…
