FridayQ: Strange

Here’s today’s FridayQ, the aptly-named ‘strange’…

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Off the top of my head, probably crocodile paté. It wasn’t that special. I’ve also eaten ostrich meat before.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever read?

Again, off the top of my head (I’m a little hungover and haven’t got a huge amount of time this morning), this is the strangest thing I’ve read recently, probably down to the sheer randomness of it. I’ve no doubt there’s stranger than that but I haven’t got the mental capacity for deep thought right now.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever seen?

That’s a question I’d ideally like to leave until tomorrow. Tonight I’m going to the FND where there is a Blingin’ Santa’s Grotto Ghetto, with his Little Elve-ises. The person playing Santa is the union’s bar manager and he’s wearing sparkly gold wellies. This could be very, very random…

FQ YOU: What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever done?

Well, on Tuesday, I helped a friend fill a platypus water bag (one of those that you put in a rucksack and then drink out of pipe while walking) with 3 1/2 pints of Worthingtons Bitter. I’ve also attached condoms (still in their wrappings) to pieces of ribbon with paperclips and then hung them around the student union bars, for World Aids Day last year.
