A lot of ISO

The good news

The School of Informatics at the university is part of the MSDN Academic Alliance, which means that all students get a free copy of Microsoft VisualStudio.Net to use on their own machines during their time on the course.

The bad news

It requires 5 CDRs to burn the ISO images for it.

  1. Sharp Develop is free to everybody and much smaller. I’ve been using it to learn recently, and it’s very nice. And of course with a nice new 64 bit processor it all loads and compiles in next to no time.

  2. Want me to send you some CDR’s Neil? Better yet I think I can get the DVD-iso version from MSDN for you (since you already have a license). ^_^
