The little cartridge that could

This is just a post about how thankful I am that my black cartidge still managed to print 5 copies of a 6 page report with only 10% of the ink left and not run out. The report has to be posted tomorrow to ensure that it arrives on time (and even them I’m using Special Delivery) and I wouldn’t have chance to get a new cartridge this evening. I could have used the university’s printers but this isn’t academic work so I’d probably get a slapped wrist.
In other news, I have another job, starting next week and lasting throughout September. I’m going to be working in an admin role in the university’s Marketing and Corporate Communications department. Which might not be many people’s idea of fun but it pays reasonably well.

  1. Hope the resits went well.

  2. My HP printer has been happily running on 0% black ink for several months now, including printing about 4 copies of my housemate’s dissertation.

This must be a Neil Richard T. thing. I work in ‘Communications & Marketing’ for Lancaster University 😉
