The Friday Five

It’s nearly the end of a very hard week. Some good questions this time.

1. What was the last song you heard?

I think 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” inadvertently infiltrated my dream. While hanging around for election results last night all 3 50 Cent singles got played over the radio, including “PIMP” twice. Which would be fine if rap music didn’t annoy me so much.

2. What were the last two movies you saw?

Monsters Inc and City of God. I will also find time to watch Finding Nemo, which arrived on Wednesday, but at present, time is not something I have much of.

3. What were the last three things you purchased?

A bottle of Vimto, a packet of crisps and some Minty Munchies. Actually, I had a really odd day with regards to vending machines since both the ones I used gave me two items instead of one, yet only charged for one. So I ended up with two free chocolate bars, which you can’t argue with really.

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?

Not much, fortunately. Dust-down and finish some coursework, do my washing (was supposed to do it this morning but I really won’t have time), go to a comedy night on Saturday and go to a quiz night on Sunday. The last things aren’t things that I need to do but I deliberately planned very little this weekend as I’m expecting to be very, very tired come tomorrow.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to?

Probably the four guys who were going to stay up all night to finish the magazine (which, fingers crossed, will be in the process of being printed now) and one of my friends of my course. This was all after 1am this morning – I decided not to pull an all-nighter but I didn’t hit the stack until 1:30am. Naturally I’ll be out tonight but I’ll almost certainly be on the Red Bull if I have any aims of making it through the night.
