More on Ogg Vorbis integration

This is a follow-up to my post about products which support Ogg Vorbis back in November, since I’ve found a couple of new resources. Although I’ve edited that entry I’ll also summarise what I found here.
The first is the Nero Plugins project, which adds support for a wide range of audio formats to Nero Burning ROM 5.5 and 6, including Ogg Vorbis, as well as Speex and FLAC which come from the same stable as OV, and just about every other major audio format out there. The Ogg plugin has been recently updated to add OV 1.0.1 support, too.
The second is Tobias’ DirectShow Filters for Ogg Vorbis, which seems to work in the same way as MediaXW in that it can add Ogg Vorbis to any program that supports DirectShow, including Windows Media Player. Although it was last updated over a year ago, it’s still more recent than MediaXW which hasn’t been updated since early September 2001, although MediaXW also includes a DirectShow filter for Monkey’s Audio, a lossless audio format.
