FeedDemon 1.0

FeedDemon 1.0 is out! It’s available at an introductory price of US$29.95.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to buy it just yet because eSellerate only takes Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover, none of which I have. Normally this isn’t a problem since many sites accept payments via PayPal or WorldPay, both of which happily take Switch, but eSellerate didn’t seem to have it as an option. I guess I’ll have to use someone else’s card – although my next debit card will be a Visa, it won’t arrive until my current Switch card runs out in 2005.
I suppose I could get a credit card in the meantime but I really don’t want to, since it would just be a greater temptation to spend money I don’t have. I already owe the government £4000, with the next cheque, which would bring it up to £5000, coming in a couple of weeks.
I’m also a bit bemused by eSellerate’s currency conversion. The Universal Currency Converter says that $30 is £16.91 at the moment. eSellerate beg to differ, giving me £18.06 as the price. Interesting price markup.
