Laptop Updates

It’s been 6 weeks since my Samsung died on me, during which I’ve been more than happy with my Toshiba. Anyway, the Samsung got sent off for repairs, and my dad has now been told that it’ll cost around £230 to replace the dead PSU and faulty battery. It’s a lot but you’d be hard-pressed to buy a new laptop of that spec for that price, so it’s probably worth it.
Interestingly, I got one of Dabs.com’s weekly emails announcing what offers they have, and there’s a Toshiba Satellite Pro A10, the model I have, on sale for £750 inc VAT. That’s a whole £100 more than we paid by ordering direct.
