Well, that was helpful

QuickTime has decided that it should be used for displaying TIFF images in Mozilla Firebird. Which would be okay if it actually displayed the image, instead of telling me:

QuickTime is missing software required to perform this operation. Unfortunately, it is not available on the QuickTime server.

And that was it. No ‘try upgrading your copy of QuickTime’ or anything more helpful. Not even a ‘try buying a mac’. Nice one Apple.
By the way, does Gecko, and specifically Mozilla Firebird 0.6, support TIFF images natively? Let me know if it does so that I can change my settings.
