How much of your blood type is available?

This was something interesting that I found via Lost Pilgrim. It’s a page on the National Blood Service web site, which lists how much blood of each type is available in days.

I was certainly surprised at just how little is available – even AB positive only has 11 days’ supply. The poor souls who are O negative have a mere 2.33 days supply.

Hmmm. Maybe I should give blood sometime?

(By the way, I would so what type I am if I could actually remember. I do know it is dead common though)
