Writer’s block

I can’t honestly think of anything interesting to say at the moment. I haven’t really done anything spectacular with the laptop, since I last posted, and I’m sure you’re getting bored with the constant updates of what’s going on anyway.
That said, I am now downloading Mandrake 9.1 from The UK Mirror Service – if you live in the UK and need to download something big, you can do worse than look for it there. You can get some truly awesome transfer rates from there, even if you’re not on the JANet backbone. I so far have 20% of CD1, so I have a while to wait yet…
And talking of Linux, Kim’s installed Slackware.

  1. Yeah, mirror.ac.uk rocks. I always download from there if I can. It’s even really, really fast for people outide of the UK, or so I’m told.
