Taking the Leed

My parents invited me to meet them in Leeds yesterday, so I popped across to see them. I haven’t been home in over 4 weeks so I haven’t seen much of them lately, and as it is I probably won’t be going back home until Easter, which is in 4 weeks.
We had lunch at Cafe Rouge (which is where we usually end up in Leeds), and then we did a bit of shopping, before going our separate ways. It was nice to see them again, and is less hassle than packing up my stuff and going home on a Friday evening.
I did stay in last night – I’d taped The Truman Show a few nights ago so last night seemed to be a good time to watch it. It’s a very good film, in my opinion, but one that really makes you think about the world around you.
Today, I have work to do. Blarg.
