Life Stuff

I couldn’t think of a better title, sorry.
I’m now in the sore throat stage of my cold, with my nose never ceasing to amaze me with its snot capacity – quite how it all fits in there I don’t know, but it’s making me worried – perhaps my brain isn’t as big as I first thought.
As forecast on Thursday, I did stay in last night, which judging by my general state of health was probably quite wise. Today has also been a rather quiet day, spent mostly in front of the computer or reading the paper. I did have a chance to last night’s edition of The News Quiz, which was hysterically funny in some parts (think of it as a sillier and less political version of BBC1’s Have I Got News For You). The best part was hearing Charlotte Green, a Radio 4 newsreader with a strong upper-class Oxford accent laughing uncontrollably and being unable to read her piece. If you can cope with having to use RealPlayer, I suggest you listen to it. And it works on 56k too.
I have no idea what I’m doing tonight, but I’ve just polished off a slightly spicy chicken korma, which will hopefully relieve a few of my cold symptons. If not, I suppose I can make something spicier tomorrow :).
