Darn inconsistencies

I just opened the blog in IE to see what it looks like. And it looks completely different to Mozilla, which is the browser I designed it for (based on the assumption that if it works fine in Mozilla then it’ll be alright in IE, and that Mozilla doesn’t suck, unlike IE).
Just in case you can’t be bothered to switch browsers (or you’re in a situation where you can’t), here are two screenshots – the top one is Mozilla 1.2.1 and the bottom one is IE6.

I personally prefer how it comes out in Mozilla, but I don’t see any real problem with how IE does it. I just wish it had centered everything, like it’s supposed to.

  1. What I like about the new design:
    – Neils World graphic
    – the navi box doesn’t seem as cluttered, maybe this is due to your choice in fonts
What I dislike about the new design
    – too much purple, eventhough there was too much whitespace before
    – category should remain under story title as it’s easier to scan the stories I enjoy (I never realised I did this until you made the change)
BTW, what does “tracking” track? what is the benefit?
