Shagadelic Baby

Just been to see all three Austin Powers films, back to back at the Bradford Student Cinema. I’d seen the first two, albeit in reverse order, but not the third, so seeing all three was quite cool. Especially as the three tickets, half a pint of coke and a bag of popcorn all came to £7.75.
The coursework is all done and dusted. In fact, it was the first thing I did when I got out of bed this morning. No really, I’m not joking. I just got up, booted to Linux, and started typing. An hour and a half later, and it was finished :).
I also had a trip to Netto – probably my final shopping trip before I leave, which is 2 weeks on Saturday. I bought mostly drink and chocolate, if you’re interested.
Had this email from one of my lecturers:

It has been drawn to my attention that al’Eid-alfitr will (most probably) be next Friday (6/12/02 CE). I think that it would be unchristian of me to expect muslims to attend my lecture classes on that great holiday.
Therefore, I will cancel my lecture classes for (first year) SD Programming 11:00-13:00 (postgrad) Formal Foundations 13:00-15:00 on Friday 6th December.
For those not celebrating the festival the SD supervised labs are to be provided, as normal.

One less reason to get up that morning. Though I’ll probably still have a lecture at 9:30am so I’ll still have to get up. Darn it.
