New Windows

We’ve got some new Windows. And what’s more, we didn’t pay Bill Gates a penny. Why? Because they’re… um… glass windows. I mentioned that we’d gone to buy them in early March, but now they’ve actually been fitted – see the photo on the left. It’s only the ground floor windows that have changed, mind – the upstairs windows have been double-glazed for some years now.
And if you’re wondering why I took the photo, then here’s the reason: tomorrow I go away to see my Auntie in Stoke on Trent for the weekend – it’s her 25th wedding anniversary so she’s having a party. While windows aren’t necessarily the most exciting thing in life, I think they may be intrigued to see what they’re like, so I printed out a copy.
