How do you say “relief” in French?

My French oral exam was better than I expected today – I’m quietly confident that I’ve improved my grade over last time. My French teacher conducted the exam, and while he won’t mark it (it is sent away to be externally moderated) he did say I was talking for quite a while, which is a good thing.
Still no change from UCAS – I still have four conditional offers and two non-respondants. Tomorrow I go to Northumbria University for my open day. If you’ve never heard of the university then I’ll tell you it is in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, won The Times award for best new university for 3 years running, and its most famous student is Jonathon Ive, who designed the iMac for Apple. I’ve also get an open day at Newcastle (which is practically next door to Northumbria) next Wednesday – so I’ll be seeing a lot of Geordieland…
