Each year Flickr asks its members to submit photos to its ‘Your Best Shot’ group and they are now taking submissions for Your Best Shot 2011. Unfortunately I can’t decide which photo to submit…

Although I don’t take as many photos as I used to (or at least it feels that way), I’ve come up with a ‘short’ list of 17 images. Most – 11 – are of animals, as Christine and I have been to two zoos this year as well as Lotherton Hall Bird Garden on Sunday (where I was able to put my shiny new EOS 450D through its paces – one of those pictures is included here). Also, one of them is actually from my iPhone. There was some nice Instagram pictures as well but I haven’t included them here.
