With the change to WordPress, I didn’t get much chance to mention our recent visit to London. We had a really good time, despite not really planning to do anything specific beforehand, but managed to squeeze in seeing Jo Brand at the Hackney Empire (some free audience tickets for her new show on Dave in September), watching the musical Wicked at the Victoria Apollo, Covent Garden, Camden Lock Market, Greenwich, the Natural History Museum, the Grant Museum at UCL, Regent Street, St James’ Park, Carnaby Street, Victoria and Albert Museum and the South Bank. So we were quite busy.
I’ve stuck the photos I’ve taken onto Flickr as per usual, although I haven’t fully tagged them yet.
We’re also away this weekend, though instead of going to the middle of a big city, we’re going to the middle of nowhere – Dentdale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park to be precise. It’s for a friend’s birthday, and we’re staying as part of a group of friends from university. It should be good, with the weather forecasts being quite reasonable, but it does mean that I’ll probably be without a decent mobile signal all weekend.

I’m terrible about tagging my photos on Flickr. When I have a lazy Sunday I should really go in and fix that. Oh, and thanks for some good suggestions on places to go in London.
