Neil Turner's Blog

A long-running blog about technology and randomness

Migration successful

If you can read this, it means the host move was successful and you’re looking at the new neilturner.me.uk . Admittedly it looks almost exactly like the ‘old’ neilturner.me.uk but I’ll get to work on a new design at some point.

  1. I would just get the domain name moved to an IPS tag holder who allows you to make changes to the nameservers when you like (I personally use a combination of HeartInternet and ResellerClub) – the freedom to make changes whenever I like is a big bonus. Then whenever you’ve synced your content, just login, change the nameservers and then wait for DNS propagation (1-72 hours).

  2. That’s the plan – all of my other domains are with a service like that.
