I will write up about Saturday night at Wembley Arena at some point and upload more of my photos, but a cocktail of essays, presentations, work and alcohol consumption has lead to me having almost no free time this week at all.
In the meantime, here are 3 assorted photos from the weekend:
- The new Wembley Stadium, under construction
- A broken display board at Waterloo station
- Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross station. I thought I might be the only one to post that but at least four other people have got it before me. Blast.
Tonight will be spent finishing my software patents essay and regretting watching 50 Things to Eat Before You Die on BBC1, since despite already having had dinner tonight I’m starving again.

I was waiting for a friend at Kings Cross right next to the “Platform 9-3/4″ for over a half hour. It was more than a little amusing to watch people getting their photo taken while running into that wall… DOZENS of them. Now I see in your photo that there is some kind of sign in front of it… I wonder how many people were getting hurt trying to get to Hogwarts?

The sign is actually a luggage trolley – it’s supposed to give the impression that it’s half-way through the wall

That’s new then… because it wasn’t there when I was last at the station. I still wonder if they put it there to keep people from running into the wall!
