Got an email through the NUS this morning telling me about the Apple Store UK for Education. I was aware that there was one in the US but if you are a registered student in the UK then you can get around discounts on most Apple products, including over £100 off a 12-inch iBook G4, thus bringing the price down to a more respectable £750. Still a bit too expensive for me though, although there are eMacs on sale for less than £600.
Discounts on iPods are only around 8%, so they’re still way beyond my budget, sadly.
